The Mill - Decoded

As part of The Mill's Decoded event, we re-imagined the studio's third floor as a metaphorical representation of our creative process.  Instead of finding artists at workstations, our guests discovered an array of screens, each one standing in for a member of our team.  As the piece progresses, content on the screens gradually evolves from a visual cacophony of disparate images into a pleasing visual harmony.

As this was an internal project, we designed the project around unused gear in the studio.  Lots of screens and projectors, a smoke machine and a video server built out of networked Raspberry Pi's.

A very big thank you to Factory Studios for their transformative 5.1 soundscape.
