This is a test I did to demonstrate dynamics.  A simulation program called Realflow is animating both the red fluid and the tiles of the periodic table.  All their movement is based on real world physics.  This is obviously useful for visual effects, but can create great looks for stylistic scenes like this one.  The animation is in my showreel.
